BACKGROUND OF BENBEN ECO PRODUCTS
The main key strategy and objectives are:
Commitment to halving poverty and unemployment in the country
Ensuring increased and meaningful participation of SMME’s and BBBEE in the mainstream economic activities.
Create jobs by initiating easy understandable, easy controllable and sustainable business ventures
The product offering that BENBEN Technologies proposes is directly in line with the two key strategic objectives as set out above.
BENBEN MOBILE BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT COACHING INITIATIVE:
There is a need to re-invigorate the township economy.
- BENBEN Technologies confirms that we can customise the mobile business development design to suit any of the government related services as wished by the provisional government.
JOB CREATION AND EXIT STRATEGY
BENBEN Technologiesworks closely with organizations like, churches, schools, municipalities, Government bodies and community structures in identifying potentialentrepreneurs.
As BENBEN Technologies we bring to the table, Solar and Eco DrivenBusiness units. These mobile units are ideal for start-up businesses and can be an alternative to either a start- up or an expansion to an existing business.
These units fit perfectly into value chains and big businesses.
We will gladly engage and work with any person or organization.
Regarding the exit strategy BENBEN technologies has always been of the opinion that businesses must grow and training will be provided to take entrepreneurs, through to all levels from start-up to establishment, or take them to the next level if they are beyond a start-up business.
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE AND LESSONS LEARNT:
We have successfully manufactured and delivered more than 50 different mobile units in the Freestate Province for customers which include the Department of Economic Affairs and Tourism and The Department of Health Freestate
Training was given to all the recipients of the mobile vending units.
These mobile units for Start-up entrepreneurs are to date working successfully.
The winner of the National Small Business Start-up Project of the Afrikaaanse Handels Institute, Mr Gideon Leraisa won the competition on a business proposal to clean school toilets in the townships. As a prize BENBEN Technologies specifically designed a mobile unit for him to conduct his business.
Due to the diversity of BENBEN Technologies product offering, as in the case of the community patroller project, in conjunction with the Department of the Police Roads and Transport of the Free State Government, 60 potential patrollers were trained by an accredited trainer for security services.
This is what makes the mobile training trailer so unique, it can be used for more than only business training. It can skill persons in different fields as well as take the training to the location in which is needed which is a significant cost saving measure.
All courses given by BENBEN Technologies are SETAaccredited.
